Note on How User Data is Provided
CimpleApp does not collect personal information directly from users through the app. All personal data associated with an employee account — including name, job title, department, and employment details — is entered into the system by an authorised HR administrator or employer representative outside of the app, as part of the organisation's onboarding process. Users access this pre-existing information through the app but do not submit it themselves.

The information housed within this portal is primarily provided by you during your initial employment onboarding or client engagement process, and is securely entered into this platform by our administration team. This includes:
- For Employees & HR: Personal details (name, email, phone number), employment records, timesheets, and banking details for payroll processing.
- For Clients: Business contact information, project details, billing records, and banking/payment details.
- Platform Usage: Activity logs, IP addresses, and device information (e.g., tokens via OneSignal for push notifications) to ensure security and platform stability.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is strictly used for internal business operations and client relationship management:
- HR & Payroll: To manage employment records, dispatch payslips, and process employee compensation.
- Client Invoicing: To generate project invoices, track payments, and provide transparent billing reports.
- Communication: To send critical announcements, policy updates, and technical notifications.
3. Third-Party Services
We only share your information with trusted third-party enterprise partners required to operate our business securely:
- Xero: For accounting and invoice syncing. Xero details for clients are provided directly by the clients themselves.
- Wise: For secure processing of payroll and client payments.
- Supabase: For encrypted database hosting and secure authentication.
- OneSignal: For delivering important push notifications to your devices.
4. Data Security & Access
We implement stringent access controls. Employees can only access their own HR data, clients can only view their respective invoices, and full administrative access is strictly limited to authorized HR management and system administrators. While we use enterprise-grade security, no electronic storage system is 100% secure.

We retain employment and financial records as required by Australian law. If you are a current/former employee or client and wish to request an export or correction of your personal data, please reach out to the HR management team.
